BSPA Wimbledon
I arrived in Wimbledon Friday night and played Saturday morning. I played Isabelle Tweedle who had won on Friday evening. This was another event where WISPA were testing the point per ralley scoring to 11.
I had never played Isabelle before and wasn't going to take her lightly. I won 11/2, 11/5, 11/6. I then had a nice walk into Wimbledon and got some lunch before heading back to the club for my semi-final match V Emma Beddoes. I was feeling alittle bit lathargic from the walking around in the afternoon and didn't make the best of starts. I lost the 1st game 11/8 and then tried to stamp my authority a bit more after that and won 11/7, 11/4, 11/5.
So, I was through to my third Wimbledon final. I was playing Rebecca Macree who had beaten the number 2 seed Dom Lloyd-Walter the day before. The final was at 3pm and so I went to the club for a hit before the final. I was prepared for a tough match and this made me play well I think. I won the match 11/7, 11/8, 12/10. I was happy with my performance and pleased to have retained my title.
