Last competitive matches of the season before getting married and getting stuck into some training.
I arrived Friday to Ipswich and was playing Victoria Lust. She had been asked to play after a late drop out by Laura Hill. I played well and won 3-0 but Vicky is an up and coming youngster and has a lot of talent for the future.
The win put me through to a re-match of last years final against Lauren Briggs who beat Fiona Moverly 3-0.
The final was Saturday evening and so I chilled out for most of the day and then had a hit before my match. I played ok. The match was patchy and up and down from both of us. I won 3-1 after a long match on a very hot court. I enjoyed the weekend though and am looking forward to the next few months of holiday and training.
