Qatar Classic
I arrived in Qatar a little later that I would have liked after going to a wedding at home. I got there and went straight to bed. The next day I practiced and got ready for my match the next day.1st Round....Today i'm playing Christina Mak from Hong Kong. She's ranked quite abit below me but I didn't want to take the match too lightly. I prepared well and won 3-0. The match was good. I played well and kept the pace high and the ball deep. I was pleased with how it went and gald to be through to the last 16 where I now play Natalie Grainger.
Last 16...I feel good today. I practiced well in the mroning and was feeling good for my match. Natalie has been playing well recently but i've beaten her before and thought I could get another win in. I started the match well and the first game was tight. I lost it 9-5. I started well and the 2nd was feeling good. I won it 10-8. The 3rd was disappointing. I didn't play aswell and lost it 9-4 relatively quickly. The 4th was much better. I played well and was at 7-7, i felt like I was hitting good lengths and getting the ball wide and deep. I was taking the ball in short well but just making a few to many errors. I felt I was alittle unlucky at the end of the 4th and lost it 9-7.
I thought overall I played well and she played better. I'm disappointed to lose but looking forward to Hong Kong now.
